Ear Training Scales PET has a good selection of the more commmonly used scales ranging from the major scale to scales used in jazz improvisation such as the altered scale. Scales can be performed either ascending only, descending only or both ascending and descending in any of three registers (high, medium or low).

You can then play along with PET using your instrument - this will help you fix the sound of the scale in your head as well as forcing you to learn the scale in all 12 keys!
